Congratulations to our NYC Champs!

Under the expert coaching of Ms. Horowitz, our middle school Track & Field Team sent several of our athletes to the NYC Championships. Here are the results:

Ryan Henry - 4th place in NYC 8th grade long jump

Katy Chen - 5th place in NYC 6th grade long jump

New Student Information Night

The New Student Information Night for students entering 6th & 9th Grades in September 2008 will be on Monday June 16th, 2008 6:00-7:00pm in the Auditorium.  Parents are welcome. Question & Answer session.

You are invited to attend a reception at the Japan Society on Wednesday, June 11th

Ten of our high school students have been participating in an arts program with The Japan Society. As part of the program, the students have been creating paintings on wood blocks with a Japanese artist.

 The works produced by our students will be exhibited at The Japan Society in the Murase Room from June 11th- 20th. There will be an evening reception for our students, family, and friends from 5:30-7:30pm on Wednesday, June 11th.  

 Please come out to The Japan Society on the evening of the 11th to see our students' work and to show your support. The Japan Society is located only half a block from the United Nations on E. 47th Street at:

FREE SUMMER CAMP AT EWSIS! Sports & Arts in the School Summer Camp

East-West School is pleased to announce a FREE Summer After School Camp sponsored by Sports and Arts in the Schools Foundation (SASFNY).  It will take place from Monday-Thursday, July 1 – August 5th, 1:00-4:00pm.  Children entering 1st Grade through 8th Grade are eligible for the Summer Camp.  There will be a wide variety of fun and enriching artistic and sports oriented activities. The deadline for your application is June 23rd.  Space is limited to 100 participants.  The completed forms are to be sent directly to SASFNY – do not send them to East-West since this will delay your application.
