High School Community Service Credits

Our service requirement is 150 hours of community service, anywhere students feel comfortable. It is the student's responsibility to find places to volunteer and complete their hours.

Location: 109th Precinct, 37-05 Union Street, Flushing, NY 11354

Description: Law Enforcement Exploring is a community service, career-oriented program designed to educate young men and women, ages 14-20, about Law Enforcement. 

Exploring reaches out to New York City's young adults in every community to help build up relations between the community and New York City Police Department. Explorers of Pose 521 are taught the importance of higher education, self discipline, and respect for authority while they actively participate in community service projects and other Exploring events.

Description: Volunteers can speak and learn about local history while doing service. Help with special events and public programming, as well as the administrative, education, and collection departments. Very flexible schedule and hours.
