We have an upcoming Hip-Hop Dance Workshop on Tuesday, May 19th, from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM. This workshop will be facilitated by the renowned Alvin Ailey Arts in Education & Community Programs and is the same workshop we ran last year in June.

The East-West PTA is holding their annual Spring fundraising event tomorrow, May 16th from 9:30 AM until 12:00 PM. Each Spring, the PTA ask families to start collecting gently used clothes, household items, media, and books and bring them to the school on Saturday, May 16th. It is spring cleaning, but instead of throwing it out, the PTA will collect them to be recycled. You can as many bags of clothes or boxes of items. The PTA will bring all donation to a FUNDrive location where everything will be weighed and convert it to a monetary amount.

We are proud to celebrate 10th Grade David Avelino whose artwork has been accepted into the Queens Borough Arts Festival this year!

Join us for a celebration of the arts at the East-West School of International Studies. Doors open at 4:30 PM. From 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM, there will be performances in the auditorium. Then at 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM, there will be an art show in the large gym.

The 2026 NYC School Survey begins today, February 9th. This is an annual questionnaire that gives families a chance to share their experiences and feedback about our school. Families can complete the survey online or by using the paper form sent home. The last day to submit the survey online is April 17th.
