Dear East-West Families,
It is with a heavy heart that I send this message regarding the tragedy at Robb Elementary School in Texas yesterday. Unimaginable acts of violence like this rattle not just the families affected, but those all across
the state and nation. I know some of what our students may be hearing or seeing on the news can be a lot to explain. If you or your child are struggling with this news, I urge you to reach out to one of our counselors for guidance and resources to facilitate conversation and/or healing. Please know that school mental health professionals are always available for you and your child. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Our building utilizes many security measures to facilitate as safe of a learning environment as possible.
