Early Decision and Early Action Choice

Early Decision (ED) and Early Action (EA) plans can be beneficial to students- BUT only to those who have thought through their college options carefully and have a clear preference for one institution.

Early Decision plans are binding- a student who is accepted MUSTattend the college. You can only apply to one early decision school.

Early Action plans are non-binding- a student receives an early response to their application but do not have to commit to the college until the normal reply date of May 1st. Each school with an EA program differs in their guidelines and policies.

Please research your list of schools. Some schools do not offer the EA/ED program.

If you will be applying for early decision or early action, please let Ms. Park know so that she can begin your college process early.
