In collaboration with New Visions, EWSIS 11th graders have been chosen to participate in a special mentoring program for the 2nd year in a row. On Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 25 eleventh graders will be able to visit the globally renowned law firm of Simpson Thacer and Bartlett. This program links volunteers at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP with our students to focus on career and college readiness through a field trip to the Firm. 25 students are randomly chosen through lottery and will spend the entire day with professionals from the firm. They will be able to see the functions of a renowned global corporation and prepare themselves for life after high school. Students must be dressed professionally and will have to participate in a forum after the trip.
