Testing Letter to 8th Grade Parents

Dear 8^th Grade Parent/Guardian:

This year NY State revamped testing requirements for 8^th grade students. No student will be double tested, meaning your child will no longer take the NY State Math test on April 29^th, April 30^th, and May 1^st.  As a result, your child must take the Common Core Math Algebra 1 Regents on June 3^rd and the Integrated Algebra Regents on June 20^th.

We will hold a meeting on March 19^th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. to discuss this information with you and to answer any questions you may have.   We will also address the 8^th Grade Stepping Up Ceremony and our 8^th Grade Trip.
