Good evening this is the East- West school of International Studies. As you know, our school shares it’s campus with IS237. The IS237 staff was made aware of a threatening post on social media and informed the principals of both buildings. The building response team was activated and the police were called to investigate this posting. At this point there is no substance to the threat. However, we are taking the threat seriously in order to be safe. The threat is being investigated by deans, NYPD and counter terrorism.
