    Good Evening, This is the East-West School calling with an important message. In observance of Memorial Day on May 31st, school will be closed. On June 3rd, Chancellor’s day, students will not be in attendance. Students should continue remote and in-person learning on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, June 1st, 2nd, and 4th.   • Middle School New Blended Learners Phone Blast

    Dear Middle School Parents. Your child is scheduled to return to in-person learning on Monday, April 26. Doors open at 8:30 AM. Returning students should report to East-West School with their devices and headphones in order to do any online work in school. All students will continue to follow their same section schedule for the first day.

  • Last Day to Opt-In for Blended Learning - Friday 4/9

    Good evening, this is the East-West School of International Studies
    calling with an important message. Tomorrow, April 9 is the final
    day of the extended deadline for you to opt your child back into
    in-person learning. Please check the email which was sent to you on
    march 23 and complete the learning preference form on our
    website. You may also call the school to request in-person learning
    for your child. You must submit the request by tomorrow. The return
    date for those students will be announced later this month. Thank

  • SAT Day - April 13

    Good evening, this is the East-West School of International Studies calling with an
    important message. All East-West 11th graders are invited to take the SAT at our school for
    free on Tuesday April 13. Students should arrive between 7:40 AM and 7:55 AM via the
    Main Entrance Lobby. All students, both Blended and Remote learners, are encouraged to
    take the exam. Any student who does not test on April 13 will be automatically scheduled
    for the make-up exam on April 27. Students must wear a face covering that covers their
    mouth and nose for the entire time that they are in the school building. Students who arrive
    after 8:10 AM will not be admitted and will be sent home. If you have any questions about
    SAT School Day, please contact the Parent Coordinator Ms. Hu or School Counselor Ms. Park.

  • Opt-In Window for Blended Learning: 3/24 - 4/7

    Beginning Wednesday, March 24, parents can visit the Learning Preference Survey at https://www.nycenet.edu/surveys/learningpreference to select in-person/blended learning for their child. Families have until Wednesday, April 7 to submit their requests.

    • Students in grades 6-12 who opt into blended learning during this opt-in window will return at a later date, and we will communicate more details as soon as possible.
    • If your child is already confirmed for in-person/blended learning, you do not need to complete the survey.
