    Hello. This is the East-West School of International Studies calling to remind you that our next PTA meeting will be held on this Saturday morning, March 7 at 10:00 AM. All parents and guardians are cordially invited to attend. The business portion of the meeting will offer updated news for parents. It will include reports from our school administrators and other staff members. As always, we will provide plenty of time for a question and answer period.

  • Clash of Classes

    On Wednesday March 4th, Student Government will be hosting Clash of the Classes from 2:30 to 5:30 in the gymnasium.  Ten students from each grade as well as 10 staff members will compete in a number of activities ranging from balloon battle, knock-out, t-shirt rally, lip-sync battle, and more.  

    Tickets for the event are $2 and middle school students must have a permission slip signed.  Students that attend are permitted to wear a color shirt that represented their grade during Color Wars.  Snacks will be sold in the small gym by our Model United Nations and Glee Club.  

    We look forward to seeing you all there.  May the best class win.

    Buenas Noches, Este es la escuela East-West llamando con un anuncio importante. El miércoles 4 de marzo, los estudiantes de el gobierno van hacer un evento de 2:30 a 5:30 en el gimnasio. Diez estudiantes de cada grado, así como , diez maestros, competirán en una serie de actividades. El costo de las entradas es $2 dolores y estudiantes de la escuela media deben tener un permiso firmado. Los estudiantes que asisten  son autorizados a llevar una camiseta que representa su grado de Color de  las guerras. Se venden bocadillos en el pequeño gimnasio de nuestro  clubs modelo de las Naciones Unidas y Glee Club. Esperamos veros a todos allí. La victoria en su categoría.   • 8th Grade Chocolate Pick Up

    Chocolate orders are ready for pick up.

    If you placed an order for chocolates, please have your child drop off the deposit of $30 per box before Friday, February 13, 2015.  Your child will bring home the chocolates on the day the deposit is received.

  • Feb 2015 PTA Meeting

     PTA Meeting on Saturday, February 7th, 2015

    at 10:00 a.m

             Light Refreshments will be served. The first 50 people will also receive a free Tulip.

    Immediately following the meeting there will be a

    Title 1 Parent Workshop: “Stress Free Meditation” for parents.

    Children are welcomed to participate with their parents.

    The workshop will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m.

    Please arrive on time. There will be no entry after 11 a.m. 

    *Bring a Towel or Mat for the Meditation Session*

    There will be a Holiday Raffle: $2.00 per ticket

     

      We will be raffling “Valentine’s Day” gift Items and a “Tea for Me” gift basket.
